Inside Out/Outside In (IOOI) podcast is developed for and by colleges and universities and consists of dynamic conversations and discussions between members of academia and its supporting and surrounding communities.  The topics and speakers selected for the podcast are framed by the themes of diversity, inclusion, and equity. The goal is to educate, inform, build community and inspire change by centering the experiences of Black and other marginalized groups, including women, immigrants, LGBTQ people, and people with disabilities. IOOI creates space for diverse groups to tell their stories and lived experiences of joy, pain, and resilience. It promotes inclusion and equity by providing a platform that amplifies voices often unheard, ignored, and devalued. Most of all, it expands public knowledge and builds empathy and community partnerships.
